Supercharger Information - Blower types superchargers generally fall into the category of being termed Postive Displacement (PD) Superchargers, where as Compressor types of superchargers are categorised as Centrifugal (CF) types of superchargers. A Hyrbid or Blend of both is termed a Screw Compressor (SC) or Twin Screw Design.

Examples of Centrifugal Type Superchargers are:
